Funny Huh

I recently wrote about the article that I liked most, which was "Go to the funeral". Over the weekend I received word that my Aunt died and I struggled with the question, If I would be able to go to the funeral? I wanted to attend, but I did not know if I would have transportation. My husband is a Minister and a couple was renewing their vows and I did not want to ruin their special day. Oh, did I tell you the Good News! I serve a God who is ABLE. The couple heard about the death of my Aunt and the scheduling conflict and decided to move their date up so that he could perform the ceremony and take the trip with me. So guess what I am going to the funeral, to support my loved ones.

What Do We Believe?

I had to do an exercise called, "I believe." In working on this exercise I did alot of self reflection. I began to question what I really believed. I think that the things I practice most are truly the values that I hold dear. Some of these things are religion, family, and love. What do you believe or should I say practice?

FORGIVE OR NOT TO FORGIVE??????

Hello Friend,

Today I receive a call from a dear friend of mine, she was very upset. A group of people was talking about her, whom she thought was very good friends. I tried to give her good advice because I believe that we will be held accountable for our actions. It seemed that she was harping on the fact that they had offended her and I believe that she had a right to be. Nevertheless, I also believe that if she does not find a way to forgive them and move on that she will fall prey to the bait. I realized sometime ago that it is not what people do to me, that I am responsible for, but how I response. I choose to forgive others, because I desire to be free and released.

Determination

Just sitting here think about how fast the time seems to be moving. I was just looking forward to the weekend and as I type here tonight a new week is about to begin. I have been try to learn how to blog all week. I final figure out a few piece only to find that I am still missing some of the main components. I am serious looking for someone to walk me through this process. I must need a visual lesson. It is amazing how something so simple can break a person down so quickly. Don't worry, I would not dare give up, I'm too bull headed for that.

Released for Greatness

Released for greatness, is the name I have chosen to motivate myself to complete the task set before me. It really doesn't matter the task. The butterfly is my symbol. It is said that the more a butterfly struggle in his cocoon the stronger and larger his wings become. I, like the butterfly have had many struggles. I believe that they have made me a stronger and wiser women.
